Performance Development Process

Hotel Savant is indebted to various institutions during the creation process for each individual work. Most are created in part through residencies and workshops, sponsored or hosted by spaces that enable the impending production to take place.

The Archery Contest was initially created as a serialized radio play through the support of Art International Radio, as a means of disseminating theatrical content to a larger audience. A portion of the work was later presented in performance workshop at Performance Space 122. The complete theatrical version was created in residence at 3LD Art and Technology Center following a rehearsal process at BAC then transferred to Performance Space 122.
